Student Artwork For Online Health & Hygiene Program

Updated: Nov 9, 2020

WIJABA developed and distributed a Health & Hygiene program (with 24 videos--5 minutes each) in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to teach primary school children in Indonesia how to protect themselves and their families from the virus. As of September 30, 2020, these educational videos have reached over 25,000 children and viewership continues to grow exponentially.

While engaging in the program, children have had the opportunity to participate in a contest each week to win a WIJABA t-shirt that reads, "Pengetahuan Adalah Kekuatan!" which translates to "Knowledge is Power!" To participate in the contest, children are asked to draw what they've learned about COVID-19, create toys out of recycled materials, or draw what they've learned about the environment.

We are so proud of all of the students who have participated in the program so far and we are looking forward to seeing more of their beautiful creations as our online education program continues to expand.
